What about Arsenal and Tottenham?

In a season where nothing started as expected for Arsenal, with three defeats (nine goals conceded and none in favor) and much criticism of Mikel Arteta, the North London derby came as an opportunity to make up for it. In front, a renewed Tottenham that was not going to be an easy bone.

The confronting Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur these days is something very similar. However, everything that happened at the Emirates Stadium was cause for celebration in the best match of the year for the Gunners, although there was no clear favorite in the historic derby in the English capital, no one could predict that the match was sentenced in the first half.

Already from minute five, Arsenal brought up Tottenham’s defensive problems from Nuno EspĂrito Santo, despite the fact that they put Chelsea in serious trouble last day. The spurs paid dearly for their uncoordinated pressure from Smith Rowe, Saka and Aubameyang.

At the start of the game, Arsenal were clear about their plan. Ben White chasing Harry Kane to the center of the field being his shadow. The English forward had only one shot on goal in two games in a poor Premier League start. Tottenham left a lot of space behind Ali and Ndombelé.

That is how the three goals came. The forward ‘gunner’, especially Saka and Smith Rowe, were the ones who best understood the match. Youth, divine treasure … Saka, at 21, played her third North London derby. Something that had not been seen since Gareth Bale in 2010. The Englishman gave the first goal to Smith Rowe and beat Lloris, the party began.
