Healthy recipes: Banana bars with oats.

Start your big day with a nutritious and healthy banana bar with oatmeal. This snack is highly recommended because the banana is rich in potassium and magnesium and contributes to the proper functioning of the intestine, nerves and muscles.


  • 2 bananas
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups ground oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup of walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

Crush the bananas, making them puree.

Add the essence of vanilla, oats, salt and nuts, incorporating all the ingredients well.

Spread the mixture on waxed paper in a tray.

Sprinkle some cinnamon and bake for about 30 minutes or until the edges look golden without toasting.

Chill and then cut the bars to the size of your preference.
